Grosvenor & Hilbert Park News
Happy New Year everyone.
2022 is Jubilee Year, and we will be planting a tree in the park as part of The Queen's Green Canopy (www.queensgreencanopy.org). Watch out for information on date of planting, hopefully you can join us.
We won't be holding a Big Garden Birdwatch in the park this year, but please hold one in your garden and submit the results to the RSPB (www.rspb.org.uk/get-involved/activities/birdwatch) over the weekend of 28th - 30th January.
The 2022 Winter Lantern Parade is set to go ahead on Saturday 5th February. The parade will start in the town centre, walk along Camden Road, and finish in the park. There are various workshops and also a request for volunteers on the day, please see their Facebook page for more information (www.facebook.com/WinterLanternParade). This is a great community event for our local area!
