Grosvenor & Hilbert Park NewsHere are the posts for July 2019 2019 news Date Published: Fri 5th Jul 2019 2019 has seen the end of the Heritage Lottery Funding in Grosvenor and Hilbert Park (see newsletters for more inforation). At the end of June we all said Goodbye to Community Engagement Officer Emma Peters as she moved on to a new job in Essex. The Friends of Grosvenor and Hilbert Park remain in close contact with Tunbridge Wells Borough Council Parks Department. Our AGM in May lead to changes in our committee, and we are pleased to welcome new members Lynda and Sara, who are getting up to speed on all that is happening! Some summer events that Emma had planned are still going ahead, thanks to Kent High Weald Partnership. FoGH will also continue with the events we traditionally held, and looking at how we can maybe take on some of the events previously held by the CEOs. We can also pass on any comments and concerns to The Council, although for urgent incidents we still suggest the public contact The Police directly using the 101 number: https://www.police.uk/contact/101/ We hope everyone is enjoying the planters around the playground and bowls green - it's almost time for In Bloom judging across Royal Tunbridge Wells. We have an informal picnic get together in July, as part of Love Parks Week - and loving our park is very much the basis of Friends of Grosvenor and Hilbert Park.
