Family Fun Day 2014
Date Published: Tue 22nd Apr 2014

Ready, steady, go for Family Fun in the Park!

On Monday 5th May 2014 the Friends of Grosvenor and Hilbert Park will hold the third annual Family Fun Day. This year's event is extra special, as we are celebrating the 125th Anniversary of the opening of the Park - Tunbridge Wells's first Municipal Park. We're expecting between 3,000 and 5,000 people to come and enjoy this free community celebration.

The day starts at 11am with our now famous Dog Show, followed by the official opening by the Mayor of Tunbridge Wells Dr Ronen Basu. Other attractions include a music stage featuring local acts, the CREATE Imaginarium, a Craft Fair, Bouncy Castle, Donkey Rides and much, much more. There is no entry charge and although there are stalls selling food, families are welcome to bring a picnic.

The Friends would like to thank our main sponsors Town & Country Housing Group, as well as the Kent and Sussex Courier Heart of the Community Awards and John Lewis Community Matters whose support has made this event possible.
