Dogs of Grosvenor & Hilbert Park Memorial

The Friends of Grosvenor & Hilbert Park are setting up a 'Dog Memorial' on a tree stump in the park. The Friends appreciate how much the park is loved by both dogs and their owners and understand how much canine companions mean to their families.

Tunbridge Wells Borough Council has granted permission for the memorial to be established on the tree stump next to the lower football pitch, under the management of the Friends group.

If you would like to add a plaque in memory of your beloved dog then please read the notes below and contact dogmemorial@fogh.org.uk to arrange a date and time to attach it, with a FoGH representative present to help you.

Plaque specification:

  • 45mm x 100mm
  • must have 2 or 4 pre-drilled holes
  • plastic or aluminium only in black, white or silver

You will need to supply and pay for your own plaque. If you mention the FoGH Dog Memorial to Jerry of 'Comfoot & Keys' at 13 Camden Road, Tunbridge Wells, plaques with wording can be purchased at the discounted price of £20.00.

Please Note: FoGH, TWBC and the Park Keeper are not responsible for:

  • maintenance of the plaques
  • any damage caused to the plaques during attachment or once in place
  • replacing any stolen plaques.
